Maja Karlsson learned to knit when she was six years old - ever since her fascination with knitting has grown. Today she mainly works as a knitwear designer, author and lecturer. She lives with her husband and daughter in Arvika in Sweden and works in a studio with a creaking wooden floor and attractive rose wallpaper.
Through beautiful images and expressive, often poetic texts, Maja shares her creations via the Instagram account @majasmanufaktur with more than 33,000 followers.
