Crocus sweater
Crocus sweater is a sweater with a classic fit, wide sleeves, round neck and wide ribbed edges. The sweater is knitted from top to bottom. First, the back piece is knitted back and forth and it is increased for slanted shoulders. Then stitches are knitted up along the shoulders and each front piece is knitted separately with openings for the neck. Cast on stitches in the middle of the front and knit the front pieces together. Under the sleeves, gather the stitches from the front and back piece on the same needle, knit the upper part in the round and finish with a purl. Pick up stitches around the armholes and knit the sleeves in the round. Finally, knit up stitches around the neck and finish with a purl.
To get a classic fit, choose a size that has a chest width that is 8-12 cm larger than your own.
