Novice sweater
Novice sweater is knitted from the top down. That is, you start by knitting the neckline, then the yoke, then the body and finally the sleeves. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the edges are knitted in rib. The Novice Sweater has a round yoke. It is formed by knitting four rounds of decreases along the way, evenly distributed on the support piece.
Size guide and measurements
Please note that you can only proceed from the measurements in the recipe if the knitting strength is respected.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to chest measurements of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice Sweater should have a room for movement (positive ease) of 5-10 cm. This means that if you measure, for example, 90 cm around the chest (measure yourself with a tape measure), you should knit a size S, which has an excess of 98 cm.
