Ullobàidi summer

Ullobàidi means woolen sweater in Sami and the pattern and colors of the sweater are inspired by traditional Northern Sami skull bands.

Ullobàidi summer is a thin summer/autumn sweater with a comfortable low neck, knitted on needles number 3.5 in Rauma Finull from Rauma Garn. Ullobàidi is knitted from the bottom up and cast off in the round.

Total width of the sweater: 85 (90) 100 (104) 114 (123) cm
Length of upper part: 36 (38) 40 (42) 43 (44) cm
Sleeve length: 45 (46) 47 (48) 49 (50) cm
Knitting tension: 24 stitches on needle no. 3.5 = 10 cm.

NB! The correct knitting tension is crucial to get the oversizes stated in the recipe. If you get fewer stitches than 22 stitches per 10 cm, you must change to thinner sticks. If you get more than 22 m per 10 cm, then change to thicker needles. It is conceivable that you have to change needles to get the same/correct knitting strength on smooth/patterned areas.
Guide needles: Circular needle no. 3 and circular needle no. 3.5. Double pointed needles size 3 and size 3.5 for sleeves and neck, use Magic Loop if necessary.
