440-6 Forest berry sweater
The forest berry jersey is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch with a pattern according to the diagram. First, the back piece is knitted back and forth. Then pick up stitches along the shoulders on the right and left front piece. The front piece is knitted back and forth, before the work is gathered into an upper part, which is further knitted in the round. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and neck. The sweater is assembly-free.
For Fremstrikk, Tonje Hodne has designed the Skogsbær sweater. The inspiration for the sweater comes from childhood. Tonje grew up with boats, and the family often went on boat trips in the summer. "I imagine that we will come to an islet where there is forest and blueberries. The sun is high in the sky, it smells like sunscreen and the sea. There is a childlike joy and excitement in the air, and a sea of small, round, blue berries.”
