Luna lambswool yarn
Luna lambswool yarn – a soft and resilient hand knitting yarn, can be combined with Vidde lambswool yarn and Varde fur wool yarn.
Luna lambswool yarn is spun from Norwegian lambswool C1 Fine, 28 microns. This means that only the finest fibers from Norwegian white sheep can be used in the production of Luna wool yarn. Wool from the sheep is Swan-labelled and has great wool and resilience. This makes this fiber suitable for airy, soft and light carding yarns.
Environmentally friendly production
Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk has placed an increased environmental focus on the use of dyes in our production. We mark this by only using GOTS-approved dyes in our color range for Luna wool yarn.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) requires dyes to be biodegradable and non-toxic. The finished product must not contain allergens or residues of dangerous chemicals. GOTS-approved dye is allowed in organic production of yarn and textiles.
