Anker's jersey child

Anker's sweater is knitted from top to bottom. The carrier piece consists of segments with ribbing followed by classic raglan cutouts. The sleeves are finally knitted on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique. Anker's jersey is assembly-free.

Size guide

Anker's jersey should have room for movement (positive ease) of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to the chest measurement.
Sizes 0-3 months (3-6 months). 6-9 months (9-12 months) 1-2 years (2-3 years) 3-4 years (4-5 years) 5-6 years (6-7 years) 7-8 years (8-9 years) 9-10 years (10-12 years) corresponds to a chest measurement of approximately 42 (45) 47 (49) 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (77) cm.
The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is observed). If, for example, the child measures 56 cm around the chest, you should knit a size 3-4 years. A shirt in size 3-4 years has an excess width of 70 cm and in the mentioned example will provide room for movement (positive ease) of 14 cm. If the measured chest measurement differs from the age guide, you should be aware of adapting the lengths to the person you are knitting for. The same applies if the child is shorter/taller than average.
