Moby sweater man
Moby sweater men is knitted from top to bottom with structured and twist knitting. First, knit the back, which is shaped with a double-pointed needle to form a shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are gathered at the front for the front piece. The front and back are gathered under the armhole and form the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique. A ribbed edge is knitted in the neck, folded over and knitted down.
Make a knitting test to check what needle size you need to hit the knitting strength - note that this can vary from yarn to yarn. Pay attention to washing the knitting sample, as structured knitting can grow during washing.
Size guide
Moby Sweater Man should have room to move (positive ease) of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement measured on your own body of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) ) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit best. If, for example, you measure 103 cm around the chest (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size L. A sweater in size L has an excess width of 118 cm and in the mentioned example will provide room for movement (positive ease) of 15 cm.
