Celeste Sweater

Celeste sweater is knitted top down with a round yoke. First the neck edge is knitted, and then the shoulder piece is knitted in the round in pattern stitch with 5 different colors according to the diagram. The double crochets are knitted according to the pattern of the yoke to knit the back higher and thus create a good fit. Body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and are both finished with a ribbed edge.

Please note that patterned knitting often needs to be knitted on a 0.5-1 mm thicker needle size than plain stockinette stitch. Therefore, make a knitting test in both patterned and plain stockinette before you get started.

The recipe contains charts with the colors from the brown Celeste Sweater as well as uncolored charts that can be colored as needed.

Size guide

The Celeste sweater should have a range of motion (positive ease) of approx. 15 cm in relation to your chest measurement.
The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm.
The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 85 cm around the chest (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size XS. A sweater in size XS has an excess width of 100 cm and in the mentioned example will provide a room for movement (positive ease) of 15 cm.
