Celeste sweater man

Celeste Sweater Man is knitted top down with a round yoke. First, a folded neck edge is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in the round in pattern stitch with 5 different colors according to the diagram. The double crochets are knitted according to the pattern of the yoke to knit the back higher and thus create a good fit. Body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and are both finished with a ribbed edge.

Please note that patterned knitting often needs to be knitted on a 0.5-1 mm thicker needle size than plain stockinette stitch. Therefore, make a knitting test in both patterned and plain stockinette before you get started.

The pattern includes charts with the colors from the blue Celeste Sweater Man as well as uncolored charts that can be colored as needed.

Size guide

Celeste Sweater Man should have some wiggle room (positive ease) of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement measured on your own body of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) ) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit best. If, for example, you measure 103 cm around the chest (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size L. A sweater in size L has an excess width of 119 cm and in the example mentioned will provide room for movement (positive ease) of 16 cm.
