Esther sweater

Esther sweater is knitted from the top down.

Sent in physical form.

Esther sweater

Esther sweater is knitted from top to bottom with structured knitting. First, the upper part of the back is knitted with increases. Then stitches are gathered up to the shoulders, which are gathered at the front for the front piece. The front and back are gathered under the armhole and form the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on circular needle. A ribbed edge is knitted in the neck.

Make a knitting test before you start to measure the knitting strength. Note that the knitting strength in both height and width must match. You can make a knitting test according to the diagram in the pattern.

Size guide

The Esther Sweater should have a room for movement (positive ease) of approx. 25 cm in the smallest sizes but progressively smaller in the larger sizes.
The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm.
The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best.
If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the chest (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an excess of 114 cm and in the mentioned example will provide a room for movement (positive ease) of 24 cm.
