Zipper sweater light

Zipper sweater light is knitted from the top down.

Sent in physical form.

Zipper sweater light

Zipper sweater light is knitted from top to bottom in one piece. The neck edge is knitted in rib, which is laid double and knitted down. The carrier piece is knitted with raglan increases, first back and forth on the circular needle to make room for the zipper, and then around on the circular needle. Body and sleeves are knitted in the round. Finally, cover for the zipper is knitted from resting stitches, so that the zipper also looks nice from the wrong side. The zip is fitted at the end by sewing it between the two layers of knitwear - by hand or by machine.

Knit a test piece to find the needle size that gives you the right knitting strength.

Size guide

Zipper sweater light should have some room for movement (positive ease) of approx. 20 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The fit is oversized. If you want a less oversize look, you can go down a size. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement measured on your own body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) ) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an excess width of 113 cm and in the example mentioned will provide room for movement (positive ease) of 23 cm.
